Introduction:
There is a wide range of choices for mountain biking in Romania. The network of
country and forestry roads covers a very large surface and the single tracks in
the mountains and between villages offer beautiful and challenging experiences.
Usually, a tour includes single tracks, local, village and forest routes,
varying from 20 to 70 km /day and from 200 to 1500 m difference in altitude,
depending on the groupâ™s requirements and also on the weather.
 All
tours have a very strong cultural side. Generally, the routes pass through
isolated villages, encounter sheepfolds, monasteries, so the resting days are
only for the body. Your mind will continue to discover places, fragrances,
people and activities.
Necessary equipment: you can bring your own bike or you can rent one here. The
protection equipment (helmet, knee pads etc.) is mandatory and is your
responsibility.
