Introduction:
 This 2 night excursion from
Bucharest is designed to give you a taste of Transylvania, and its most famous
past resident; Dracula. Upon your arrival to Bucharest, our English-speaking guide will
take you to Poenari Castle, which is referred to as the real
Dracula Castle. Now in ruins this castle sits on a cliff which demands a hike up
the 1,400 stairs to reach the top. This was Vlad Tepes' place of refuge. Next we
will head deeper into Transylvania to Bran
Castle, disputed home of the fictional Dracula. Ending the day in the
Medieval town of Brasov.
 The following day we will have a short tour of the historical center of Brasov.
After we will leave for
Sighisoara, and visit the only inhabited walled citadel in Europe, and the
birthplace of the real life Dracula; Vlad Tepes. On the way we will pass by many
interesting Saxon village where you can see the unique architecture of the
houses and front gates.
The next morning we will tour Peles Palace in Sinaia. Built by King Carol
of Romania, this palace is beyond belief in its detail and scenery. After we
continue enroute back to Bucharest. The last stop of the tour is at Snagov
Lake, where in the middle sits an island with a monastery that is said to
contain the
 Tomb of Dracula. To get to this island we must take a row
boat. At the end of the day we will drop you off in Bucharest and say the final
good-bye
