Introduction:
On this tour you will discover
historic medieval towns in Transylvania, most relating to Vlad Tepes aka
Dracula. Starting off in Sinaia with its breathtaking mountain scenery and
magnificent Palace of Peles. Then we will continue on our trail of Dracula and
visit Bran Castle, often referred to as Dracula's Castle. After the historic
capital of Transylvania, Brasov. Next on to Sighisoara, the birthplace of
Dracula and one of the only still inhabited medieval citadels in Europe. Then
accross to Sibiu, another historic gem of Transylvania. On our journey you will
be staying in some of the most well preserved medieval towns in Europe; such as
Brasov, Sighisoara, Sibiu and Targoviste.
After we will then head down to the Black Sea coast where you will have the
remainder of your vacation relaxing on the beach, taking in the spa facilities,
and enjoying the nightlife. During this time you will also get a chance to taste
the sweet wine of Murfatlar, which is one of the highest producing wineries in
Romania.
