Introduction:
On this privately guided tour you will see a mix of historic and natural sights.
Starting with a trip to the Danube Delta for bird watching, boat rides and
more. After we will travel to Transylvania and discover its rich history in its
castles and medieval towns.
After a night in Bucharest we start our journey to the Danube Delta. Arriving in
the town of Tulcea for the first night stay in a Traditional guest house. The
next few days we will discover the area with a private local guide specializing.
Network of channels, lakes, lushly vegetated forests â� and a huge diversity of
birds, presided over by the greatest of them all, the pelican..
In the second part we will visit and experience the region of old castles,
medieval cities and fortresses in Southern Transylvania. Main Highlights: Peles
Castle, Bran Castle, Rasnov Fortress, Brasov â“ the old center, Harman and
Prejmer â“ an example of saxon fortresses, Sighisoara â“ medieval citadel, Biertan
fortress, The city of Sibiu â“ European Capital of Culture in 2007, Cozia and
Horezu Monasteries..
